Customer Materials

H Cross Company can perform a wide range of services for customers who may not have the capabilities in house. Whether you need to have old product re-processed to suit your new application or have a custom material that you cannot fabricate we can help. Some of the processes we can perform at our facilities are as follows:
 
Annealing:

We can strand anneal products in our hydrogen or argon atmosphere furnaces to temperatures of 1200 C. We also have a 1650 C high temperature hydrogen atmosphere furnace and a 2300 C hydrogen atmosphere sintering furnace for specialized applications.

Electropolishing:

We can electro-polish your materials to improve surface finish for critical applications.

Re-Drawing:

H Cross Co. can redraw existing wire diameters to smaller and tighter tolerance diameters on one of our draw benches.

Re-rolling:

We can re-roll most products up to 3" wide if you have obsolete inventory due to product/design changes. We are capable of rolling most materials down to .001" or lower. Why waste material when we may be able to remanufacture it to fit your newer requirements.

Toll-rolling:

We can fabricate customer-supplied materials to suit R & D projects, specialized customer requirements or anything else you cannot perform in house.

Slitting:

We can slit product as narrow as .020" up to 6" wide depending on material.
